Microbial Inoculants
EF Leaf Microbes
THE REVOLUTIONARY NEW MICROBIAL
GROWTH PROMOTER

Azobacter - a nitrogen fixing microbe
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION / FEATURES
EF Leaf Microbes produces a complex, multi-dimensional growth response when foliar sprayed. It includes finely-tuned
nitrogen-fixers, which utilise carbon exudates from the leaf to fix nitrogen from the atmosphere directly into the leaf; a
range of microbes, which release natural growth hormones as metabolic by-products, such as gibberellic acid, cytokinins,
auxins and indole-acetic acid; species that produce vitamins, including the B group, Vitamin E and Vitamin C; and also a
range of organisms that secrete an anti-fungal toxin on the leaf surface to bolster disease resistance.
BENEFITS
Vigorous vegetative growth (minimum 20% increase in yield)
Reduces flower / fruit drop
Improved yield and quality
Stimulates resistance to plant diseases
Provides bio-protection
Offers inexpensive nitrogen supplementation
Improves plant health and resistance
Increases flowering
Improves flavour and shelf-life
Cost effective at $7 - 10 per hectare
APPLICATION RATES
Apply a foliar spray at time of planting, then every 21-30 days. Use a sticking agent in wet conditions. General dilution
rate of 1 : 1000
Pasture - Foliar spray at 125 ml per hectare in 70-100 litres of water
Grapes - Foliar spray at 250 ml per hectare (dilute to 1:1000)
Orchards - Foliar spray at 300-700 ml per hectare every four weeks
Small Crops - Foliar spay at 200-300 ml per hectare or at a dilution rate of
1 : 1000
GENERAL COMMENTS
In addition of molasses and EF 10:10:10. (EF 10:10:10 formulation includes all of the requirements to maximise microbial
performance, including chelated phosphate, molybdenum and iron).
Fungicides do not adversely affect the bacterial species in EF Leaf Microbes. However, biocides cannot be used in
conjunction with this product.
Most chemical pesticides and organic, neem-based products are compatible with EF Leaf Microbes
Constant heavy rainfall can wash the EF Leaf Microbes organisms from the leaf surface.
Do not spray above 80 psi.
