PRODUCT DESCRIPTION / FEATURES
EF Compost Microbes contains a potent range of fungi and bacteria which devour cellulose and lignin. A favourite for making fungi
dominated composts.
This product can be used for rapid breakdown of crop residues or green manure crops.
There are 90 billion active bacteria/fungi per gram of product when activated.
BENEFITS
Rapid conversion of crop stubble to humus
Improves decomposition of resistant plant residues e.g. wheat straw
Increases humus levels of soil
Improves water holding capacity of soil
APPLICATION RATES
Compost - 100-200 gms / tonne of compost
Crop Residue - 200 gms / hectare with 1 kg of microbe food before
ploughing/discing
Wood Chip - 500 - 100 gm / m3 of wood chip
GENERAL COMMENTS
The addition of microbe food enhances microbial activity and multiplication.
For slurry activation mix 1 kg Accelerate™ with 54 kg animal manure (mix is best), add sufficient water to create
slurry. Keep for 1-2 days then use 10 kg slurry per tonne of fertiliser.
Do not spray above 80 psi.
